New builds, buy-to-let and refurbished properties

This is a selection of the best full building programmes on the French Riviera. This is a relatively new area of development on the Cote d'Azur but in the last few years it has become the one of the most successful ways of investing in the South of France. A new build means you buy now but don't pay the full price until completion of the project. So you can purchase your investment at 2007 prices and in some cases not have to pay the full amount until 2008 or 2009. 14 Boulevard Victor Hugo Located 60 seconds from the Avenue Jean Medecin, the major shopping area in Nice and home of Nice's new tramway, "14 Victor Hugo" blends the practical side of life in a town centre perfectly with the indisputable charm of a resolutely modern secure residence. The newly pedestrianised Place Massena, home to Galeries Lafayette and Chanel, is two minutes away.

Le Jardin Pastorelli If you prefer a modern and well-built apartment within walking distance of every major Nice landmark then this new development is for you. Situated on rue Pastorelli, five minutes on foot to the Promenade des Anglais. Almost all of the studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments have some outdoor space, be it a loggia, balcony or terrace.
