This is a relatively new area of development on the Cote d'Azur but in the last few years it has become the one of the most successful ways of investing in the South of France. A new build means you buy now but don't pay the full price until completion of the project. So you can purchase your investment at 2007 prices and in some cases not have to pay the full amount until 2008 or 2009. 14 Boulevard Victor Hugo Located 60 seconds from the Avenue Jean Medecin, the major shopping area in Nice and home of Nice's new tramway, "14 Victor Hugo" blends the practical side of life in a town centre perfectly with the indisputable charm of a resolutely modern secure residence. The newly pedestrianised Place Massena, home to Galeries Lafayette and Chanel, is two minutes away.

Le Jardin Pastorelli If you prefer a modern and well-built apartment within walking distance of every major Nice landmark then this new development is for you. Situated on rue Pastorelli, five minutes on foot to the Promenade des Anglais. Beauvallon is a prestigious villa development to be set in the beautiful countryside overlooking the Gulf of St Tropez, just to the east of Grimaud.  A comfortable two hours drive from Nice international airport and only half an hour from the glamorous St Tropez itself.  Even though this project is close to such elegant towns and villages, the actual plot is placed in acres of forestland with each property coming with 2500m2 of secure private land.  There are 17 high specification villas to be built by the end of 2008, all with a generous the 2500m2 of land, sea views and beautiful terraces.  Prices will vary from €1,320,000 for a well appointed 198m2 villa to €1,850,000 for a substantial 227m2 villa.  With already one luxurious villa sold these are set to be a popular choice.
