This is very classy - this apartment has been renovated and interior designed "to within an inch of its life". The building is classic art deco and everything has been done by the designer-owner including new plumbing, new electric system and new real parquet floor. The bathroom equipment is by Philippe Starck. What's really delightful about this building is that it is in perfect condition - constantly renovated over the years - but every single piece of the original art deco decoration has been kept in the public areas. As one of my colleagues said when we viewed this building - "it's like stepping into a Poirot movie" Inside the apartment has fewer rooms than you expect for such a large apartment, but this is what makes it so special. The master bedroom is the size of a small apartment, with a fantastic ensuite. The second bedroom is also vast and of course it has it's own ensuite as well. The apartment is surrounded by terraces and balconies and is fully airconditioned. At the front of the apartment there is a double width living-room and five French doors opening onto the terrace. The very special thing about this apartment is the secret communal garden behind building that is only for the use of the residents. It's about half an acre in size and quite formal, great if you want to hold big parties, weddings or just want to relax. This is very unusual property because it is almost to perfect - really worth a look.
