The Financial Times says that Nice has become one of the hottest spots to invest in on the Mediterranean, after a four year beautification programme that has transformed this vibrant, exciting city.

A first-floor one bedroom apartment inside one of the Old Town’s
smartest buildings on the Rue de la Prefecture. Marble and glass greet
you on entry as you pass the atrium core of the building to the
property’s front door. A kitchen, bathroom, then large living room
spread out from the front door. The latter looks out onto the Place de
Vielle Ville, one of the Old Town’s prettiest squares. The bedroom has
the same view and has plenty of room for a double bed and storage. The
bathroom has some staggering 70's decor something that may need to
changed unless you like chocolate tiles matched with a pink bathroom
suite. In need of a general refreshing but the location and price are
overwhelmingly positive.
