An extraordinary apartment with extraordinary history. This massive 300 square meter apartment is in the former Palace of the Count of Falicon built during the golden age of the Earldom's of Nice and the House of Savoy. In 1847 the Count of St Etienne decided he wanted a palace on the right bank of the River Paillon. He owned most of the land down to the sea on this side of the river and at the same time this building was constructed he made a gift to the Diocese of Nice, of a plot of land to build the Church of Our Lady of the Wishes, which you can still see from the apartment. The Count's Son in Law (Count of Falicon) then carried on the construction to build what he described as "the beautiful absolute". The original ceiling frescos in this apartment date from this time, as does the extensive use of high quality materials of stone and wood. The apartment is on two levels and includes -

1st level: Living room, big study or bedroom, 2 bedrooms, separate WC, bathroom, separate fully equipped kitchen, laundry (office), hallway, long veranda on the back.

2nd level: bathroom, 2 bedrooms under roof. This is one of the few large apartments still intact in Nice and a rare opportunity to purchase a property very close to it's original layout.

Painting of the building is taking place at the moment to bring this prestigious residence back to its former glory.
