This more modern and residential area of Villefranche over looks the Port de la Darse and bay of Villefranche from the West. The properties are often found in 'domaines' with pools and parking and are connected to the rest of Villefranche by little stairways and footpaths.
Between the Old Town and the Corne D'Or, this area was developed in the 1930's and rises up the steep hills to the Col du Villefranche. The views of the bay of Villefranche from here can be stunning but it is still only a short distance to the old town and local amenities.
