Airport Bus
The number 98 bus to the Gare Routiere (Nice bus station) runs every 20 minutes from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and terminates just behind the Old Town of Nice. The route goes along the Promenade des Anglais (beach road) and turns up the Boulevard Jean Jaures to the bus station. The ride takes 20 minutes and costs ?4. For this price the ticket is also an all day excursion pass on any bus route in the general Nice area and ends at midnight on the day of purchase. The number 99 bus also departs from both terminals 1 and 2 and takes you to the main Nice train Station - the Nice-Ville Gare SNCF via the Promenade des Anglais until it turns left onto the Boulevard Gambetta and then to the train station. Same ticket policy applies for this route. Buses run every 20 minutes from 05h45 until 23h45.

From the train station there are many links both ways along the coast. The Station in Villefranche is conveniently located right behind the beach, it is then just a short 10 minute walk into the old town. For local train times click here
